The People's Pageant

Part of the Out of the Blue Festival, Everton

About The People’s Pageant

The People’s Pageant was launched in 2010 as park of the Out of The Blue Festival.

The pageant will take place on Everton Park, Liverpool on June 25, 2010. The aim of the pageant is to be to bring together various groups who have an interest in the park and it’s creative use. These will include local schools, the Ranger Services, Liverpool Biennial and other ‘creative clusters’.

Each ‘Creative Cluster’ will prepare a set piece of performance suitable for the environment – i.e. a dance or drama on the theme of Wild Flowers

Each creative cluster will Pageant from their creative centre to the park and join together in a grand pageant where each presentation is viewed in a rolling pageant throughout the event.

The purpose is to bring together unique creative clusters to present their individual vision into a united display of love of the park and all it offers.
